Offered in this lot we have a collection of three western books. The first of the books is Sacajawea Guide of the Lewis and Clark Expedition written by Grace Raymond Hebard c. 1957. The book tells stories of the westward expedition and was published by The Arthur H. Clark Company. The second book is a copy of 'War Chief Joseph written by Helen Addison Howard. The book was printed in 1952 by the Caxton Printers located in Caldwell, Idaho. The book tells the life story of War Chief Joseph, the leader of the Nez Perce and considered one of the greatest leaders of the tribe. The third and final book is titled Good Medicine the illustrated letters of Charles M. Russell. The is a compiled compilation of the letters that Russell wrote to his friends over the year along with marginal illustrations on the pages. Overall the collection is in good condition with some wear on the dust covers of the second two. The largest of the books measures 11 1/4" tall by 8 1/2" wide.
