This lot features a collection of three Native American rugs. The first rug in this lot is a small Burnwater rug form the Indian Wells region. The Burntwater rug style originated north of the Rio Puerco Valley near Sanders, Arizona. In 1968, Philomena Yazzie was the first Navajo weaver to combine the design elements of bordered rugs, from Ganado and Two Grey Hills, with the earth-toned vegetal-dyed colors from the Crystal regional style. The second rug in this lot is a Zapotec runner with vibrant colors and signature fringe. The finally rug featured is a small Zapotec rug with a elegant pattern and great color.
