Cogswell & Harrison Supreme Quality Deluxe self opening side lock shotgun in 12 gauge in its original oak and leather case with canvas cover, serial #72000 (possible display or exhibition piece). The gun shows 28"barrels with ejectors and double triggers. The frame is ornately scroll engraved with floral accents and flush gold serial number and makers name on each lock. The fences are chiseled with flowers and matching engravedflower on trigger guard. The action is satin gray or coin finished. The gun is stocked in select burl walnut with crisp checkered pattern. The barrels are choked .14 left (light modified) and .26 right (improvedmodified). The gun is modern proofed for 2-3/4" shells and is dated 1994 with barrels measuring .27 thickness left and .25 thickness right. The stock measures 15-1/2" to the end of the checkered wood butt with a2-1/2" drop at the heel and 1-3/4" drop at the toe showing slight cast ¾" at heel ½" at toe.
