Clip point Bowie knife marked G. Wostenholm and Son Washington Works Sheffield with I.X.L. stamped in large letters on the ricasso. The blade measures 8", 12-3/8" overall, stag gripscales, German silvermounts with S shaped guard. The blade of thick stock and shows quality manufacture, full dimensions, some minor cleaning and stoning, considerable original polish. With old handmade American leather scabbard marked in punch dot pattern R. J. Davis that is neatly done and of the period. The scabbard shows some small losses and normal aging and has character. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
