Classic period shortened percussion brass tacked single shot musket, lock plate dated 1863, .58 cal., 23-3/4” barrel, wood stock, butt plate long ago removed, #NVSN. This gun shows a heavy dark patina to metal surfaceswith light to moderate pitting; good action, dark bore, single barrel band with sling, added large sling swivel on left side of stock with brass stud; well-worn wood half stock with brass tacks on both sides of buttstock with larger tacks at top of wrist and top of butt stock rear; from an old collection and a great looking old tacked piece that would have a great story if it could talk! Est.: $750-$1,500.

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
