Classic Nazi era German drilling with Eagle “N” proofs signed Fritz Steinerstauch, Wurzburg. The arm is mounted with a Carl Zeiss 4 x 32 power Diatal scope on claw mounts. The drilling is 16 gauge over 8 x 57 JR cartridge and the right shotgun barrel shows a .22 rim-fire caliber removable insert which is also German proofed. The action is nicely engraved in classic German hunting scenes with oak leaf scrolls. This gun has been beautifully restocked in the classic German style by Freddy Brunner former top gunsmith for Pachmayr for his personal collection. The arm measures 42” overall with 24 ½” barrels. Other features include side safety, cocking indicators, flip up rear sight when rifle activated and fine quality throughout. This classic German combination remains in near excellent as restored condition. The scope and mounts alone would cost over $3500 at today’s exchange rates. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
