top mounted spring bayonet by Blanch of London circa early 19th century and in very good plus to almost fine condition. Measures 28” overall with a 12 ¼” 3 stage cannon mouthed flare muzzle with a 1 ¼” bore. Very crisp edges and markings with considerable case hardening on the lock which is all original. The checkering is sharp and almost fine. The action works well and the bayonet snaps with authority and locks. A very nice blunderbuss that’s classic in style. (Antique) Est.: $2,000-$4,000
