Civil War period tintype of Confederate soldier in uniform with large Bowie knife in belt and small framed pistol with long barrel that may be a Remington. The soldier is wearing a kepi and uniform jacket with veryworn britches. The image measures approximately 2-1/2" x 2" and is definitely a Confederate soldier by the style of the uniform. The Bowie knife in his belt has a distinct American look and makes this imagedoubly rare and desirable. The image is in good condition, the embossed leather case very good. Est.: $600-$1,200

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
