Civil War era backpack or haversack, leather over wood frame with leather straps and japanned finish buckles, numbered “65”. Condition is good with some fraying at the edges of the flap, some small losses ofleather. Also marked “H2” on one end and “65th Regt” on inner face. Virtually every infantry soldier in the Civil War carried just this type equipment. They are collectible and great for display, especially with regimental marking. Est: $350 - $700
