Manufactured in 1863. Three screw frame cut for a shoulder stock marked "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side. Barrel has the one line New York address and the cylinder has the Texas Navy scene. Inspection marks are stamped on the barrel, cylinder and grip straps. Visible numbers match. Smooth grip with a cartouche on both sides. Comes with a reproduction shoulder stock numbered "152" with brass hardware.

Condition: Very good as partially refinished, showing an artificial brown-gray patina. The cylinder has a patch of pin point pitting and retains much of the roll engraved scene. The brass trigger guard has a bright appearance. The grip is very good with a repaired chip and missing chip near the bottom and some scattered minor handling marks, with faint re-stamped cartouches. Mechanically fine. The reproduction stock is missing the tightening knob and has some minor handling marks and a few minor gouges, with "B.C." carved on the left side and the brass has been artificially aged.
