Civil War Remington New Model Army Percussion Revolver
Manufactured from 1863-1875. Fixed pinched blade front sight and notched rear sight. The top barrel flat is marked "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 / E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK. U.S.A / NEW-MODEL". Brass trigger guard. Single letter inspection marks (W, R, G and D) are stamped on most of the components. Matching serial number on the barrel and on the frame under the left grip and "143" is marked on the back of each grip panel. Smooth period customized walnut grips with a decorative silver bar inset at the bottom of each panel.

Condition: Period refinished. The revolver retains 80% armory style blue finish with areas of smooth gray patina. The trigger guard has an aged patina. The hammer shows much of the original faded case colors. The grips are fine with a few minor dings and dents. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
