The lot features an original Civil War Danzig Model 1834 Percussion Musket Rifle chambered in a .75 caliber. The German rifle shows a 41-inch round barrel with octagon shank. These were used during the United States of America Civil War during the mid-19th Century. The lock and barrel are both marked with Danzig and show the date of 1834. The piece shows the original hardwood stock with three band brass fittings having a buttplate peak stamped, “69 / 11R”. The percussion rifle musket shows a faded to dark patina finish with some pitting, typical of its early age. The stock shows wear with some chipping at the lock and a crack at the tang, toe line and buttstock peak. Ramrod is missing. This is an Antique Firearms Pre-1898 requiring NO FFL.
