STEPS ON HOW TO BID ONLINE FOR DISMANTLER SALES

1. Type www.robertsonauto.com on your search bar.
• The page will read “Robertson Auto Auctions” with a picture of a red corvette on the main page.
2. On the blue title bar, hover over “Upcoming Auctions” and click on “Dismantler Auctions.”
• Click on the (Desired City that you want to place a bid) Dismantler Dealer’s Silent Online Auction title
• Once you have selected the city, the list of vehicles will appear.
• Click on the “place bid” button for the vehicle you wish to bid on.
3. Click “place max bid”, a sign in box will appear.
4. If you have an account Sign in, If not you would need to Create an account by clicking on the “create new account” link.
5. Fill out the information requested and click on the blue “create account” button.
6. Check your email for the next step.
7. Once the email is received, click on “confirm email address”, this will take you back to the website where you left off, click continue.
8. Fill in your contact information and submit
9. Your account is now active and you may enter all desired bids!
10. The bidding box will appear for you to continue entering your bids.
11. Once amount is entered it will ask to confirm bid CLICK TO CONFIRM
12. BE SURE TO CONFIRM, WHAT YOU ENTER IS WHAT YOU PAY IF YOU WIN
13. CLICK ON GO BACK TO LISTING , CONTINUE TO BID
As long as auction is open you can go back and place a higher bid, you are not able to decrease your bids.

S. Customs and Border Protection auction that is not generally available to the public; (5) presently debarred or declared ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency in accordance with 41 CFR 101-45.6; or (6) the party or representing the party(s) from whom the property was seized. RRE subcontractors further may not act as agent for a third party in purchasing U. S Customs and Border Protection property/merchandise that is or has been in their custody or control. For breach of this warranty, RRE shall have the right to cancel any purchase contract without liability. Further, I agree that should I be named the successful bidder on a lot my registered name, lot number, lot description, and winning bid amount will be published on the U. S. Department of Treasury auction website, in accordance with the Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996 (5 U.S.C. 552 (2000)).
I agree that by registering I have read and agree to the following terms: The licensed scrap dealer, recycler parts, and/or dismantler, or their contractor (if any) will remove and destroy any non-factory hidden and concealed compartments located in the vehicle(s). If any illegal controlled substances and /or contraband is discovered in a seized and forfeited vehicle(s) purchased at this specialty sale, the licensed scarp dealer, parts recycler, and/or dismantler, or their contractor (if any), must immediately secure the vehicle(s) and contact RRE or U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection for removal. Sole ownership of vehicle(s) has been LEGALLY FORFEITED to the U.S. Government, in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. The U.S. Government is the “LAWFUL SOLE OWNER” of the vehicle(s), and has the lawful right to dispose of it (them). Any and all previous ownership, registration, lien or encumbrance, or title to this property is NULL and VOID, and license plates previously attached to this vehicle have been DESTROYED. This vehicle IS NOT available for sale to the public, and MAY ONLY be sold to a licensed vehicle scrap dealer, parts recycler and/or dismantler. No vehicle will be sold to a dealer using an expired license. The U.S. Government has determined that this vehicle IS NOT FIT for use on the road, and SHALL NOT be re-registered for use on the road. The “Buyer” or buyer’s agent by acceptance of the Bill of Sales, understands, agrees and certifies that the vehicle(s) purchased will be dismantled and/or “parted-out” and will not be resold nor re-registered for use in the United States, or any foreign country. Buyer shall permanently place the vehicle in California, Texas, or Arizona Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) status L-10 “Non-Revivable Junk” or similar “Non-Revivable Junk” status with another State if the vehicle is taken out of the State of California, Texas or Arizona. The Buyer understands that failure to comply may result in the loss of their business license, and federal criminal charges for FRAUD against the U.S. Federal Government.
Vehicles are auctioned as is, where is (with all faults), without warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied, as to age, year of manufacture, make, model, condition or any other specification. Description of vehicles, either written or oral are furnished as a guide only. No guarantee as to the accuracy of description is made. Some vehicles may have “Salvage Only” titles or be “Export Only” vehicles. “Salvage Only” titles and “Export Only” vehicles when known are announced. Absence of mention of “Salvage Only” titles or “Export Only” vehicles does not constitute any warranty or guarantee. RRE highly recommends that the purchaser preview all vehicles to determine the actual condition. Vehicles may be previewed on MONDAY MAY 2ND & TUESDAY MAY 3RD, 2016 from 10:00 AM TO 4:00 P.M.
Sealed bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Buyer’s current State scrap/dismantler/recycler license. Buyer certifies the Company license is current, in good standing with the State; the license is not suspended, in the process of being revoked or under other disciplinary business actions by the State regulatory agency or board. Minimum bid requirement of $100.00 per vehicle effective December 11, 2008. No bids under $100.00 will be accepted. All bids must be submitted in whole dollar increments only. In the event of tie bids the bidder who first submitted the bid to our office will be the winning recipient. Faxed or emailed bids must be received by TUESDAY MAY 3RD, 2016 all bids must be in no later than 5 p.m. Successful bidders will be notified by 12:00 on WEDNESDAY MAY 4TH, 2016.
Final payment of purchased shall be made no later than 1:00 PM CENTRAL ON THURSDAY MAY 5TH, 2016 with no exceptions. Failure to comply will result in automatic forfeiture of ALL deposited funds and cancellation of ALL purchases. Payment is due in full by wire transfer or certified funds only by straight deposit (no personal checks will be accepted) payable to Rod Robertson Enterprises. Vehicles must be removed from sale area no later than FRIDAY MAY 6TH, 2016. After that period, a charge of $5.00 per day per vehicle will be charged. RRE offers vehicle transport for any vehicles purchased at a RRE Dismantler Auction. Check with the local facility manager for fees. The $5.00 per day vehicle storage fee will be waived if buyer elects to employ RRE for transport. Only original purchaser or representative with authorization letter and valid photo identification will be permitted to remove vehicles from sale area.
