Chieftan's quality da sword, silver mounted with quality forged steel and silver inlaid blade, circa late 19th to early 20th century. These southeast Asian swords are generally poor quality and of modern manufacture; thisis a quality ethnic weapon from an old time sword collector. The blade measures 27" and is approximately 1-1/4" wide across the ricasso, and 37-1/2" overall. The blade shows floral inlays running down the centerblood groove from rear almost to the point, with figures of birds, deer, mythical beast. The blade is good with some minor pitting. The scabbard and the grip are nicely worked silver with scrolls, florals, and panels.The mounts are good with some small losses. Est.: $600-$1,200

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
