Featured in this lot we have a framed wall display titled "Chiefs of Little Bighorn". The piece features 12 photographic prints of Native American Indian Chiefs who were present during the Battle of the Little Bighorn on June 25, 1876. Each photo shows a brass plaque underneath with the name and some information on the Chief. The center of the piece shows a plaque in between four arrowheads, two on each side. The center plaque reads "There were fourteen chiefs at the battle of the Little Bighorn. The fourteenth chief was Crazy Horse. There was never a photograph taken of Crazy Horse because he felt that he would lose his spirit. It is said that Crazy Horse or Rain-In-The-Face was responsible for the demise of Custer". This wall display shows good condition with little to no wear. The frame measures 35 1/2" wide by 34 1/2" tall.
