Included in this lot we have a framed Charlie Marion Russell print titled "Cowboy Roping a Steer". Charles Marion Russell, born March 19th, 1864 in St. Louis Missouri and died on October 24, 1926 in Great Falls Montana. Russell is known for his paintings of cowboys, Indians, and western landscapes, as well as crafting bronze sculptures. This print depicts two cowboys galloping on horse back and working on roping a running steer. The figures are shown on a flat sage covered valley with dust raising from the hooves. The piece is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "C M Russell 1904". The print is set into a custom wood frame with a light tan border around the piece. The piece shows good condition overall with some minor wear across the frame. The frame measures 23 3/4" wide by 28 3/4" tall with the art measuring 15" wide by 20" tall.
