For your consideration are four Charles M. Russell prints for framing, printed by B & B circa 1960-70s. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The four lots included in this are titled, "A Bronc to Breakfast", "At Close Quarters", "When Horse Flesh Comes High" and "A Loose Cinch". The first print "A Bronc to Breakfast" shows cowboys and ranchers watching a cowboy on his horse buck him around the cooking area as he kicks over the meal that was just prepared. The second print, "At Close Quarters" depicts a man protecting himself and his horses as two bears charge at him in close quarters. The man has his rifle raised and has shot at the closet bear to him, while his horses get ready to flee. The third print, "When Horse Flesh Comes High" shows a group of cowboys in a fire fight with unknown enemies. One man is hoping onto his horse, while the other is firing his rifle behind his downed horse. The final print, "A Loose Cinch" shows three cowboys wrangling a large bull on horseback. One man has his rope tied on the horns of the bull, while the other two swing their ropes in the air ready to wrangle the bull. The four ready to frame prints come with a small write up on Charles M. Russell as well. The prints and write up show good condition overall with no wear present. The visible art measures 7 13/16" L x 10 3/4" W, while the entire piece measures 10 1/2" L x 13" W.
