Included in this lot is a framed, Charles M. Russell buffalo hunt print, titled "Land of Good Hunting". Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926), also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. Known as 'the cowboy artist', Russell was also a storyteller and author. The print displays two Native American men on horseback hunting a buffalo. The braves are shown with a bow and arrow and a spear on the back of galloping horses. The background shows flat grass lands with a plateau rising in the background. The piece shows Russell's iconic art style and wonderful detail. The piece is set into a wooden frame. It shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 16" wide by 12" tall with the print measuring 12 3/4" wide by 9 1/2" tall.
