Cased pin-fire revolver of good quality and Central European manufacture circa about 1860s showing no visible proof marks and stamped acier foundu on left side of breech which means made of steel. The barrel lug isnicely faceted and fancy and the pistol shows very good quality. The metal surfaces are finished in the bright and shows some beginning light staining and minor pinprick pitting. The pistol is approximately 7.5 mmpin-fire with 6 shot cylinder and double action. The grips are dark black horn and the left grip shows some damage from mites or worms but the right grip is near excellent. This pistol is contained within its originalto the period fitted blue velvet lined case with 2 compartments. The case is remaining in very good condition and the exterior of the case is a Moroccan leather dyed black with a carrying handle and brass studs. The case isvery good plus to near fine condition.
