Cased pair of Tatham & Egg flintlock pistols, .58 cal., 7” barrels, brown finish, brass mountings with faces on butt plates, brass tipped wood ramrods, barrels secured to stocks by double keys. These guns are inoverall good condition with crisp actions, good markings, overall good wood stocks with a well-done repair to one fore stock area; both guns have a consistent appearance with similar amounts of remaining browning on thebarrels. The casing is overall good as re-finished with a chip to the right lid corner; interior has been re-lined; accessories include brass powder flask, bullet mould, screwdriver, cleaning rod,patches and a small metal vice; the brass plaque in the lid is inscribed “Capt’n Charles P.A. Hill”. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
