Cased engraved and gold washed Czar spur trigger antique revolver, .22 cal., 3-1/2” octagon barrel, nickel finish with gold wash to cylinder a knurled cylinder pin, checkered hard rubber grips, #7538. This gun is inoverall very good to fine condition showing considerable original finish with some scattered areas of pitting that have been lightly cleaned; crisp action and markings, considerable gold wash remaining; left gripshows repair to top of grip; casing is overall very good with purple interior and accessory pearl fan-type ladies pocket folding knife that is in good condition; key escutcheon is missing, several losses tofancy wood veneer confined to edges and therefore less noticeable. Included is a copy of Lee Silva’s book “Wyatt Earp: A Biography of the Legend, Vol. II, Part 1” where on page 463, there is a photo of asimilar deluxe Czar revolver that belonged to Josephine Marcus Earp during her time in San Francisco as an actress.
