Cased double action pinfire revolver engraved with finely checkered hard wood grips that may be ebony, serial number 205521. The revolver measures 10” overall with 4 ¾” barrel of approximately 9 mm pin fire. The metal surfaces are bright or coin finished and show some slight aging and minor discoloration. The grips are crisp with fine checkering and their condition is near fine overall. The revolver shows a double action feature with folding trigger and there is a crownproof along with Belgian proofs. The pistol is contained within an original to the period generic style open case that would fit almost any cartridge revolver of about this size. The interior of the case shows some discoloration andimpressions from this pistol banging against the edges and also shows two compartments for cartridges. The interior of the case is good to very good and the exterior of the case is very good plus with a working key and constructed oflight oak with a nice grain. Est.: $900-$1800
