Manufactured in Italy by Ivo Fabbri, these shotguns are of the finest in the world and made on a custom made to order basis only. There is about a 6 year waiting period on these shotguns after one is ordered. This particular shotgun features chopper lump blue barrels and coin finish on the remaining metal surfaces. The barrels are chambered 12 gauge, with 2 3/4" chambers, and Briley choke tubes (lead only modified and improved cylinder chokes installed) and ejectors. There is a single brass bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib. The upper left side of the barrel is marked IVO FABBRI - BRESCIA -" and the right side "VACUUM ARC REMELTING STEEL". The top of the rib 3" from the breech and at the breech have a small area of fine scroll engraving design and the breech end is also bordered with a simple scroll. All of the coin finished surfaces are engraved with fine scroll and rose bouquet patterns. The right side of the trigger guard plate is signed by the Master Engraver "G Steduto" followed by "Creative Art". The lower sides of the action and underside are gold inlaid "IVO FABBRI". The serial number is on the lower tang in gold inlay, as is the "SICURA" safety marking on the upper tang. The fences/recoil shields are uniquely recess sculpted and engraved. Creative Art is located in Inzino, Italy. Members of Creative Arts were instructors in the GMP (Grand Masters Program) in 2006. The company was formed in 1987 by Giacomo Fausti and Ugo Talenti, in 1989 Talenti left and Giovanni Steduto filled the vacancy. Steduto began engraving at the age of 19 after attending the Sarezzo School of Art, working several years at the Engravers Boutique of Cesare Giovanelli while taking an engraving course taught by Giulio Timpini and a drawing course under the guidance of Campanelli. He is a drawing and painting buff and has participated in some painting exhibitions in Valle and Brescia. Single selective trigger, tang mounted safety and mounted with deluxe, extra fancy Circassian walnut finely checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a gold initial oval and solid black leather covered recoil pad. The vacuum arc remelted steel barrels on these shotguns are very desirable and increases the value considerably.
