These rifles were manufactured in 1978 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Lyman gun sight company. There are scope blocks mounted near the muzzle and near the breech of the barrel with a Lyman Century Model scope serial number "78-0465" installed. The sides of the receiver have floral scroll designs. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with steel grip cap and recoil pad. With a hardwood case lined in green velvet. In the case is a folding knife, a medallion, a book, screw on lens covers, a cleaning rod and a box of 20 unprimed 45-70 brass.

Excellent, the rifle retains 98% of the original blue finish with some minor high edge wear, a few minor scratches and a few minor dings. The stock set is very good with a 2 1/2 inch tight hairline crack on the right side of the wrist and a few slight marks. The scope has a number of scratches on the tube, has clear optics and is missing a mounting screw. The case is fair with the back wall detached from the side walls and scattered wear and tear to the interior. The accessories are all very good.
