Cased Remington New Model Police single action conversion revolver, .38RF cal. desirable 6-1/2” octagon barrel rare in blue and case hardened finish, wood grips with extra percussion blued cylinder, #15212, in overall excellent condition showing majority of original bright blue finish on barrel and both cylinders, frame, loading lever and hammer have toned, markings are sharp, action is crisp, grips are fine with majority of original varnish; inside left grip reads “From the collection of Richard G. Gooding, Wausau Wisconsin”; casing is in overall very good condition with old crack along the back of the lid, rose colored lining inside with a bullet mold, brass stand-of-flags and eagle powder flask, Hazard’s pack of skin cartridges and an Eley Bros tin of percussion caps. Late of the William E. Florence Collection and sold in the Jackson Arms Catalog in 1961. Est.: $5,000-$10,000.
