This is a beautiful example of a presentation engraved Renato Gamba Mustang Model rifle. The barrel is blue and the remaining parts are coin. The barrel is equipped with a ramped blade front sight, fixed open rear sight and integral claw mount bases. The bottom of the barrel is marked "ACCIAIO BOEHLER - MADE IN ITALY", various proofs (including on the flat, and "270". The left side of the barrel is marked "ARMI RENATO GAMBA - GARDONE V.T." and the left rear is marked "BUILT FOR J.T. AMBER / BY RENATO GAMBA". The barrel is fitted with a Zeiss Diatal - Z 4x32 scope. The side lock action is very nicely engraved with a wooded scene of hunters scaring up deer, deer in a wooded scene on the right side and a wooded mountain scene of a bugling elk and deer. The left side has "ARMI RENATO GAMBA - BS" in a banner and "ARMI RENATO GAMBA" in a banner on the right side, and each side is signed by the engraver. The engraving is very fine. The fences are engraved with a fine scroll design and the same pattern is found lightly done on the trigger guard, tangs, break lever and forearm hardware. Single cross bolt, extractor, adjustable double set triggers, tang mounted safety with gold "SAFE", cocking indicator and mounted with deluxe, nicely figured checkered walnut Schnabel forearm and pistol grip stock with a cheek piece, Kickeez recoil pad and sling swivels.
