A) These are finely made miniature Derringers which feature silver mountings and floral scroll engraving on the lock, hammer, trigger guard, left side plate, barrel tang and thumb shield. The barrel is brown with a Damascus pattern with a blade front sight. There are two silver inlaid bands around the breech plug and the letter "P" on the upper left flat. Pineapple trigger guard finial and mounted with a full walnut stock with fine checkering on the butt, engraved silver wedge escutcheons and buttplate with cap compartment. Complete in a Western Tray & Case Company leather bound case with red and tan velvet lining and miniature brass powder flask.

Condition: Near mint as custom made with only light handling/storage marks overall. The case is very fine with a small piece of leather absent from the right rear corner and some separation of the lining on the inside over the hinge. The flask is very good with an aged patina, (dark in areas). Mechanically functions fine. An extremely fine, well done pair of miniature Philadelphia Derringer Pistols!
