This is 1 of only 100 General Patton 357 Smith & Wesson revolvers issued by the American Historical Society. This Deluxe edition revolver features floral scroll engraving with a punch dot background covering the sides of the barrel and lug, frame, trigger guard and cylinder flats. The underside of the frame ahead of the trigger guard is marked ""P029D". The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" in a banner, and the right side "S.&W. .357 MAGNUM" in a banner. The S&W trade mark is marked on the left side of the frame and the four line address is on the right front in a scroll. Except for the front sight, (brushed stainless with red insert) and rear sight, (blue), the revolver is completely finished with sterling silver. Fitted with a pair of smooth ivory grips with scrimshawed intertwined "G/S/P" on the lower right side. Complete in a wood and glass display case with certificate, papers and shipping box.
