Condition:
Very good as period refurbished, the barrel, breech plug and barrel tang. The barrel retains half of the brown finish with a couple of small areas of pitting and all of the Damascus pattern remaining. The breech plug and barrel tang retain 99% blue finish. The remaining surfaces have a smooth dull gray patina. The stock is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches, sharp edges on the flats and crisp checkering. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is excellent. The case is fine with a large crude "No 10" scratched into the lid and a few minor scratches and dings on the exterior. The lining is good showing some minor contact wear and soiling. The compartment that houses the flask has part of the wall cut away to accommodate it. All accessories are good or better.
