Manufactured in 1913 and subsequently custom engraved by Schuyler, Hartley & Graham, (according to consignor notes). The revolver features floral designs with a punch dot background on the barrel, frame, ejector housing, cylinder flats and back strap. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side is marked "45 COLT" in a panel and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. All nickel finish, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with smooth two piece ivory grips. Complete in a wooden case with brown velvet lining with an 8 round cartridge block, eight rounds of U.S. Cartridge Company 45 Colt rounds and brass cleaning rod.
BBL: 7 1/2 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 45 LC
Finish: nickel
Grips: ivory
Serial Number: 326192
Condition: Custom embellished with most of nickel finish remaining. The finish is beginning to frost in most areas. The grips are a bit loose and ill-fitting, otherwise very good with minor age cracks radiating from the screw hole, light handling marks and a mellow aged patina. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. The cylinder has a bit of play, otherwise the action is very good. The case is very good overall, the lid is slightly warped, there are a few minor scratches and the corners are starting to separate. The lining is very good showing some minor contact wear.
