Cased Colt Model 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, Gustav Young or his shop engraved, .31 cal., 4” octagon barrel, silver plated brass straps, ivory grips, #140152/I (“I” marking signifying factory ivory grips). This gun is in overall very good condition showing a grey patina overall with slightly darker patina on case hardened frame; classic scroll and vine Young trademark engraving with dog’s head panel on left side of barrelassembly, wolf’s head engraving on hammer and hand cut “Sam’l Colt” on top barrel flat and hand cut “Colt’s Patent” on left side of frame; all matching numbers including wedge and arbor, good action, majority of cylinderscene remaining; bore should clean to good; beautiful ivory grips showing mellow aging and cracklature on butt; considerable silver plating remaining on straps; the case is in overall good to very good condition, missinglock plate brass escutcheon, period brown interior lining and partitions; period accessories including brass eagle powder flask, brass Colt’s Patent bullet mold, blued combination nipple wrench/screwdriver, Eley

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
