Cased Belgium Browning Lightning Grade I Superposed Shotgun
Manufactured in Belgium in 1967. Features a single bead front sight on a vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, chokes marked full (*) and modified (**), and ejectors. Marked "Lightning (in cursive script) / BROWNING" on the underside of the floral scroll engraved action, with the scrollwork extending to the break lever and trigger guard. Gold washed trigger and tang safety/barrel selector. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Complete with a Browning takedown case with personalized name plaque ("NORMAN R. MILLER").

Condition: Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% original blue finish with mild thinning on the forearm hardware and limited spotting on the receiver near the buttstock. The wood is also excellent with the varnish beginning to craze, some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering, and some unknown residue on the buttstock, with a few minor dings. The case is excellent.
