Manufactured in 1910 and subsequently engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraved Alvin White. The revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, ejector housing, the frame, cylinder flats, back strap and trigger guard. There is a wide and thin gold inlaid band around the muzzle and breech end of the barrel, and a wide and thin gold inlaid band around the rear of the cylinder. The upper front sides of the frame have a floral design and there is a decorative geometric and shell design on the top of the back strap. The left side of the front strap under the grip has a small gold inset plaque marked "AA WHITE/ENG." The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side ""45 COLT" and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Blue with casehardened frame, blue hammer with polished sides and gold plated frame screws and trigger. Fitted with two piece pearl grips with relief carved buffalo on each side. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish, wood grips at the time of shipment as 1 to Abercrombie & Fitch Company, New York, New York on June 26, 1911. The revolver comes in a leatherette hard case with purple fitted lining and a cartridge block containing 18 45 caliber cartridges.

Condition:
Masterfully embellished to near mint condition with only the slightest handling/storage marks. The grips are also near mint. The case is very fine with some minor contact wear on the lining.
