Bottom Drive Carousel
Four (4) Model WP28 Bottom Drive Carrousels manufactured by White Storage and Retrieval Systems which is a division of FKI Logistix
Units were operating before being picked up by mover who disassembled them and brought them here.
A horizontal carousel is an automated storage and retrieval system consisting of a series of linked bins / carriers mounted on an oval track. When activated, the bins rotate to bring the required items to the operator or an automated picker. The carousel can be controlled using a simple foot switch, simple keypad controls, or sophisticated software. Bottom drive horizontal carousels support the bins from below on a solid round track and are designed for larger live loads and heavier duty cycles.

Unique bin design distributes shelf loads through the rigid box structure of the bin sides and back, then through the bin base plates to the wheels and solid bar stock track (1045 steel)
Torque tube system drives bins from the bottom and top simultaneously, keeping them upright as they round the nose ends
