Shipping Details:
LA Auctions offers in-house shipping for most items. We aim to ship within 3–5 business days after full payment is received. Our primary carrier is Canada Post, (domestic & international). For oversized or heavy items, we may use DHL, Purolator, UPS, or other freight services. All shipments include tracking. Additional insurance can be purchased upon request through the carrier. Shipper must notify LA Auctions before items are shipped. A packaging fee applies to all shipments, $3.00 per envelope & $20.00 per parcel. We are happy to combine shipping for multiple items when possible to save you money.
Some items cannot be shipped and will be marked “Pick-Up Only” in the description. Buyers are responsible for arranging pickup. Photo ID will be required for all pick - up items. USA & International buyers are responsible for all customs, duties, and import fees.
LA Auctions is not responsible for delays or damage once items are in the carrier’s possession. Claims must be filed with the carrier directly.
Payment Details:
All invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your invoice notification, with e-transfer being our preferred method of payment. Credit card payments are only accepted with valid photo ID; if you wish to pay by credit card, you must contact us directly at 780-893-7836. Payment will include the hammer price of items purchased, buyer’s premium, credit card fees if applicable, as well as applicable taxes and any shipping, handling, and insurance fees if required. Ownership and risk of purchased items transfer to you upon full payment, and items must be paid in full before removal or shipping. Items not paid for within 7 days of the auction close will be considered abandoned; any payments made may be forfeited to cover advertising, handling, and storage costs, and the items may be resold. All sales are final, and no refunds, returns, or chargebacks will be accepted. By placing a bid, you agree to these conditions and waive any right to dispute charges with your payment provider. General
In the event of an electronic failure during an auction, all items sold prior to the failure remain due and payable. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, LA Auctions reserves the right to cancel the remainder of the auction and relist unsold items at a later date.
LA Auctions is not responsible for any claims, demands, or actions arising from the sale, handling, removal, use, or transportation of purchased goods. Buyers agree to indemnify and hold harmless LA Auctions, its employees, and agents from any claims, losses, expenses, or damages directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from any action or omission connected with the auction.
Items may have reserves as set by consignors.
LA Auctions reserves the right to add or remove items, update descriptions, or correct errors at any time. If there is a conflict between a description and a photo, the description takes precedence.
When multiple lots of identical items are offered, a representative photo may be used. Actual items may vary slightly in cosmetic appearance or packaging.
Item Condition
All items are sold “As Is, Where Is” with no warranties expressed or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing photos and descriptions and asking questions before bidding.
All sales are final—no refunds, returns, exchanges, or bid retractions.
In the event of a dispute over the highest bid or validity of a bid, LA Auctions’ sales records are final and binding.
By registering and bidding, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. All auctions are conducted under the laws of Alberta, Canada. All bidders must be of legal age and register with accurate information, including a valid credit card.
A buyer’s premium of 18% + applicable taxes is added to all purchases.
