This is an original circa 1950’s porcupine quilled and woven box from the Chippewa / Ojibwa (Ojibwe) Native American Indians. The keepsake box features a wonderfully and professionally crafted birch wood, beargrass, and porcupine quill construction. The keepsake box features a lovely decoration of stars and geometric patterns to the outside rim of the box with a beaver shown as its central decoration of the lid of the box. The condition of this box is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this box are 6" x 6" x 2 3/4".
