The lot features a cuff link set and tie clip all in silver from the Bell Trading Post dating to circa 1932-1969. The jewelry collection all matches with a silver Navajo pattern Thunderbird having arrowhead symbols on the wings and an oval polished cabochon of Turquoise at the center. Bell Trading Post was founded along the newly made Route 66 in circa 1932 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred (Mildred's maiden name was Bell). The jewelry has the original Sundog collection tag numbers. Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and acquired by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery. The tie clip measures 1 5/8"L by 3/4". The cufflinks are each approx. 1 1/8" by 5/8" by 3/4". Total weight is 13.8 grams.
