Featured in this lot is this collection of fourteen Glacier National Park and Montana Native American photo postcards circa 1905-1915. There are five Glacier National Park photo post cards showing various locations around the park such as: Lake McDonald Hotel, Lewis Hotel, Swift Current Falls & Gould Mountain, Going To The Sun Road and Cut Bank Chalets. There post cards have not been used. Three of the postcards are from Tomer J. Hileman (1882-1945), an American photographer born in Manor Township, Armstrong County Pennsylvania, who is renowned for his photos of Glacier Park in Montana, and Blackfoot Native Americans. The other postcards show locations and people such as: Skidoo Bay on Flathead Lake, Flathead Native Americans on the Flathead Reservation, Flathead Native Americans, Sheridan Stampede and the Crow Reservation. There are two original photos of Native Americans. The postcards and photos show good condition with some wear from their vintage age and use. The largest one measures 4 1/8" L x 5 7/16" W, while the smallest measures 5 3/8" L x 3 1/8" W.
