Burgess Gun Co. pump action shotgun, 12 gauge, 30” Damascus barrel, blue finish to receiver, checkered wood stocks, #NVSN. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of its damascene pattern on the barrel, the receiver and balance of metal shows a brown patina with some hints of original blue finish scattered in; the bore is very good as is the uniquely designed action; wood is also very good showing wearand possibly an older re-freshening of the finish with some scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage; original hard rubber butt plate shows wear and old losses at the top and bottom areas. These guns were wellahead of their time when produced and also came in a folding model that was favored by law enforcement; many found today are well-used and this is a very nice example that was used but had good care by itsprevious owners.
