Manufactured by FN between 1956 and 1974 for Browning. Bead blade front sight with the rear sight removed for scope mounting. Mounted with a Weaver K 2.5F (2.5 X 20) scope with Butler Creek lens covers. Floral scroll and border engraved receiver. Fitted with a checkered deluxe walnut forearm and buttstock with a steel serrated buttplate. Accompanied by a factory letter confirming the serial number, grade and caliber. The letter also indicates that the rifle was sold to Barnett Sporting Goods, Denison, TX on July 17, 1970. Complete with a brown leather takedown case with brass hardware.
