British long-pattern sea service pistol, Tower and GR marking on lock, 12” barrel, good untouched overall condition with sharp lock markings and crisp British broadhead proof onlock. Barrel shows a deep patina with visible proofs and light to slightly heavy pitting. The mounts show a good patina. The wood is good with some chips and losses that are minor and generally sound overall. Missing its belt hook. The pistol is in itsoriginal flintlock configuration with all original small parts. An old hand-carved period ramrod is included. Circa late 1700’s to early 1800’s, at the time when Britain ruled the seas under Admiral Lord Nelson.Est: $1,400 - $2,800
