British Pattern 1845 Victorian First Officer’s saber Dress Sword and brass scabbard by maker Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, in overall very good condition showing some denting to scabbard and slight surface rust; blade is etchedwith Garter, Star and initials D.R. W. and dated 1850; per consignor, initials are for Lieut. David Robertson Williamson of the Coldstream Guards who purchased the sword in 1848; later a Lt. Col. Of the Perthshire Rilfe Voluteers.
