This flintlock British military pistol was manufactured by Henry Nock of London. Nock as a notable London gunsmith and became Master of the Gunmaker's Company in 1802. Nock did not make many military firearms, thus making this example very desirable. The lock plate is marked "H. NOCK" behind the hammer and a large crown over "GR" is stamped ahead of the hammer. The left side of the barrel at the breech is stamped with two British proofs. The stock has brass furniture including the butt cap. The left stock flat is stamped with the letter "P" and another inspection mark. The underside of the stock is stamped "C/13" in large font ahead of the trigger guard. The wooden ramrod has a brass tip.

Fair. The barrel and action have a smooth gray patina with overall minor pitting. The brass has a mixed patina. The repaired stock is good with a few hairline cracks, a missing chip on the forearm, and a few gouges. Mechanically fine.
