British Enfield Model 1914 bolt-action military rifle made by Remington/Eddystone and so marked on the top of the receiver, .303 cal., 26-1/2” barrel, military blue finish, full wood stock, tan woven slingmarked “M.E. Co. 1913”, #132364. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 45% military blue finish with majority on the receiver and the balance gone to a pleasing brown patina, very good bore,crisp action, very good markings, very good sling, stock is overall very good with brass id tag in right side of butt stock marked “K.R.R., 1914, 864” for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. (60th Foot) and cartouche on the right side in front of the brass id tag. An interesting variation of the Model 1917 military rifle. From the Dr. Sterling Fenn collection. Est.: $300-$600.
