Brevette of Colt 1851 Navy revolver, .36 caliber percussion, 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, varnish wood grips, serial #17480. The breech end of the barrel is stamped “Colt Patent” in two lines. The cylinder is engraved with florals and shows “ELG” and crown Belgian stamps. The revolver retains 70-80% original blue just starting to tone and dull slightly with some light pitting and erosion just starting. The frame, hammer, and loading lever show 50-60% case hardening going light and silvery with some faint colors. The varnish wood grips are very good plus with 75-85% varnish, some slight wear at the edges. The backstrap and triggerguard show 30-50% blue. The action is crisp, one nipple is split. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
