1. An Invoice will be emailed to you at the conclusion of each Session OR the last day of a multiple session Auction.
2. Payment is due once invoices have been sent out.
3. If you wish to pick up your items and pay with either Debit or Cash, this must be approved/arranged by Scribner Auction Ltd.
4. If you wish to pay & pick up in person, please make an appointment to do so by calling : 780-842-5666 (No Drop Ins Please!)
5. 10% Buyers Premium per item will be applied to all online purchases. (Note: Caps at $800 per item) See BP, Taxes & Fees
6. An additional 3% convenience fee is applicable for any and all MasterCard/Visa transactions.
7. GST of 5% will be charged to all applicable items
8. Scribner Auction Ltd. will automatically charge your credit card by Noon on the Tuesday following any weekend Auction(s) if you have not already paid alternately or have made arrangements that are satisfactory to Scribner Auction Ltd.
9. All “E-Transfers” MUST be sent to : admin@scribnernet.com
10. EFT's "Electronic Funds Transfer" is available upon request & Scribner Auction Management approval AND an additional minimum fee of $25 will be added to total Invoice to cover Bank Charges. (This is NOT the same as ETransfer)
11. Shipping & Handling Charges will also be charged to your credit card at the time of shipping and a New & Revised Invoice showing the total including shipping/handling will be emailed.

Purchases will be packaged up after the auction and shipped via Canada Post or PUROLATOR (please let us know which of those 2 Couriers you prefer) within 12-16 days of the auction sale. (Purolator is the only option for Dangerous Goods!) Please contact us via email (reception.scribnerauction@gmail.com) or call 780-842-5666 prior to the auction if you wish to arrange alternate shipping. Shipping & Handling Charges will be charged to your credit card at the time of shipping. Most packages shipped via Canada Post come with $100 insurance. Please review Canada Post Terms & Conditions AND/OR Purolator Terms & Conditions for their respective Insurance Policies. If you want EXTRA Insurance from the carrier, you must instruct our office to purchase additional insurance! 1. Online bidders’ registration must be accurate.

6. All Bidders must understand that internet bidding may be subject to error due to loss or delay of internet connection. Pre-bidding/Absentee bidding is available before the Auction begins.

8. After an item has been sold, that item is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. All merchandise is sold AS IS/WHERE IS. No Guarantees or Warranties Given or Implied. Scribner Auction is not responsible for missing parts. No bidder shall retract his/her bid. All sales are final. In all cases of dispute, Scribner Auction Ltd.’s decision shall be final.

11. You must rely on the pictures provided to inspect the items. Therefore, each Purchaser shall be held to have satisfied themselves as to the condition & specs of all items based on pictures provided. If in person preview is not possible, please review the pictures provided. Based on these circumstances, as an online or absentee bidder, you hereby agree that you are bidding sight unseen.
12. PICK UP IS PREFERRED ... IF SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE, packing & shipping costs will be the buyer's responsibility. Receipts will be sent with the purchase or emailed. (Scribner Auction Ltd. is willing to assist with arranging Freight / Trucking when & if possible) Any work needed for transportation of equipment purchased is the responsibility of the Buyer.
13. The Auctioneer will not knowingly accept a bid from any Consignor or Agent for the Seller.
14. No item(s) may be removed from any auction site until said funds have cleared. A paper copy or emailed receipt marked “PAID” will need to be shown at the auction site in order for purchased items to be released or removed from the auction site.
15. Scribner Auction Ltd. reserves the right to close an active Bidder’s account if they believe the Bidder has breached or is likely to breach any part of the Terms & Conditions.
16. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to purchase insurance for their purchases immediately.
17. The Bidder acknowledges that an auction site, whether on private or public land, is a potentially dangerous place. Any person at the auction site is there at their own risk and should advise their agents, employees, and all other accompanying parties of the same. No person shall have any claim against Scribner Auction Ltd. or the Seller for any losses, damages, accidents, discomforts incurred, or injuries sustained while viewing the auction sale items on or off the property, or during removal of purchased items following the completion of the auction.
18. The Bidder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Scribner Auction Ltd. and their Seller’s from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, damages, costs and losses of any nature, arising from the purchase or use of any item, or the attendance or participation of Bidder, their agents or employees, at the auction sale and/or on the auction site whether before, during, or after the auction sale.
19. All purchases must be removed from the auction site within the time announced or posted at the auction. All purchases not removed within the time announced shall be considered abandoned, unless other arrangements have been made.
20. Scribner Auction Ltd. is providing a Live Internet Auction Bidding Platform as a service to the Bidder. Under no circumstances shall the Bidder have any kind of claim against Scribner Auction Ltd. if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Scribner Auction Ltd. will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source.
21. Scribner Auction Ltd. presents their Auction Sales on LIVE AUCTION WORLD & ICOLLECTOR (powered by LIVE AUCTION GROUP) Platforms which employ anti-sniping technology. This technology ensures that all bidders have a fair opportunity to win item(s) by extending the auction of a particular item for a predetermined time. For example, if there is any bid activity within the last 60 seconds of the listing, the listing will automatically extend for an additional 60 seconds and do so indefinitely until bidding has ceased. If this situation occurs on lots that have been tied together where specific lots have the same closing time, then a 60 second bid extension will be applied to all grouped lots.
