U.S. bayonets and edged weapons, all with scabbards, covering eras from the Indian Wars to Vietnam; a mini collection in its own that was part of our late friend’s collecting efforts of over 50 years; included are a Springfield Hospital Corps knife with scabbard inscribed “Lorina A. Lara”; a large 1911-dated Springfield bolo knife; a smaller 1917-dated Plumb bolo knife with scabbard cover marked “Pike”; a 1900-dated R.I.A. bayonet with leather covered scabbard; a 1906-dated Springfield bayonet with tan woven covered scabbard; another tan woven covered scabbard with Springfield bayonet dated 1908; a 1917-dated Remington bayonet with leather scabbard; an unmarked 1917 style bayonet in leather scabbard; a 1918-dated Springfield bayonet in green fiberglass scabbard and a 1942-dated bayonet in similar scabbard; an 1895-dated Krag bayonet in metal scabbard; a shortened U.C. maker bayonet in green fiberglass scabbard, undated and two M6 bayonets.
