Best Known model 1866 Remington Rolling Block Navy, navy marked, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood grips, serial #2443. The barrel shows 20-40% original blue, evenly drifting and toning at the edges, some light erosion and normal aging just starting. The frame shows 30-50% case hardening drifting to grey with some good colors lightly showing. The small parts show bright original straw blue. The stocks are very good plus to near fine with crisp edges, sharp cartouche on left bottom grips, with “HW” razor sharp. Stocks show some small marks, particularly in the forend from military storage. The action is crisp, the bore excellent. Provenance Richard Littlefield and Jerry Landskron collection. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
