Offered for sale is a great example of a Belgium Browning A5 16 Gauge Sweet Sixteen Shotgun. The shotgun features 29 1/2" barrel, factory engraving, 2 3/4" chamber, walnut stocks, and adjustable choke. The Browning Automatic 5, most often Auto-5 or simply A-5, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. It was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun design, and remained in production until 1998. The name of the shotgun designates that it is an autoloader with a capacity of five rounds, four in the magazine and one in the chamber. This shotgun shows a good bore, good bluing for its age, and some handling wear on the stock. This shotgun was manufactured in 1931. This is a Curio & Relic firearm. FFL transfer or NICS background check required. The serial number is 116312.
