Belgian underlever exposed hammer side by side 28ga shotgun. Barrel inlaid in gold with maker’s name “Alb. Simonais Liege”. 27-1/2” browned barrels, case hardened lock, straight stock with no pistol grip, case hardeningaction and mounts with blued accents. The stock measures 14-3/4” from the front trigger to the end of the wood. The barrels retain 90-95% of their original browned finish with almost all their original Damascus pattern.The barrels are nitro proofed and Belgian proofed and shows 2-3/4” chamber. The gun is choked Open or Cylinder. The action shows 75-85% case hardening with some good colors, especially on the left sight, right sidedulled from the case. The underlever and triggerguard show 90% toning blue. The stocks are very good plus with sharp checkering and just minor aging. The gun is contained within its original to the period highquality red felt-lined partition style luggage case with leather exterior and brass trim.
